Information of Hazardous Waste Shredding System in Nanyang

Project Overview

This project specifically focuses on volume reduction and homogenization pretreatment for high-strength, high-hazard industrial waste, such as Intermediate Bulk Containers (IBC totes) and chemical drums. Featuring ZAECOTECH’s hydraulic-driven twin-shaft shredder paired with an intelligent PLC control system, the project delivers automated hazardous waste shredding.

Powered by a low-speed, high-torque hydraulic drive system, high-strength alloy cutters, and an enclosed explosion-proof design, the equipment efficiently processes complex waste streams—consistently shredding bulky, irregular materials into uniform sizes of 50–150 mm to provide safe and reliable feedstock for downstream processing.

Customer Feedback

Since commissioning, the client has highly praised the equipment's processing throughput, safety performance, and operational stability. The hydraulic twin-shaft shredder has demonstrated robust shredding capability when handling waste drums, rigid packaging, and complex mixed hazardous waste. It effectively resolves long-standing industry challenges associated with traditional processing, such as uneven particle sizes, low manual handling efficiency, and frequent equipment blockages.

Following pretreatment, the waste materials feature consistent particle sizes and significantly reduced bulk volume, enabling more thorough mixing during subsequent stabilization and solidification landfilling, thereby substantially boosting overall disposal efficiency.
